Here, we don't take the kids to an ordinary zoo. Vinpearl Safari, in the north of Phú Quốc, is a park where you cross large areas by bus and where the animals live semi-free. For families staying with us, it's our favourite nature outing, and here's how we fit it comfortably into a half-day.

A zoo unlike any other

Vinpearl Safari is Vietnam's largest semi-wild animal park, right next to VinWonders, at the very north of the island. No rows of cages here: you climb aboard a bus that crosses large areas where the animals live semi-free, just a few metres from the windows.

We marvel on every visit, just like the first time.

For the children, the effect is immediate, you really feel like you've set off on safari. We move along at the tour's pace, without rushing, and take the time to watch. It's an outing that delights little ones and grown-ups alike, and it's a change from the island's more classic attractions.

We like to warn families before we set off: with us, we take our time, but for the safari, we get up early. It's in the morning that the park truly comes to life.

When to go and how long

We recommend going in the morning: that's when the animals are most active, before the midday heat. Allow a half-day for the safari alone, without rushing, or a full day if you follow it with VinWonders right next door. With young children, the morning stays our ideal format, we head back to have lunch and rest quietly.

Prices and combos

Prices vary a lot with the season and promotions. Good news for 2026: in the summer offer (March 20 to September 30), tickets start at 150 000 ₫ for an adult and 100 000 ₫ for a child. And toddlers under 100 cm get in free.

Want to see everything in one day? Combined VinWonders + Safari tickets bought at the counter run around 1 000 000 to 1 350 000 ₫ per person. As prices change, we always check the current amounts with you the day before.

THE HOUSE TIP

The house tip: let us book your tickets the day before. We handle the combos and the logistics, all you have to do is enjoy the morning.

From the hotel

The park is at the very north of Phú Quốc, 40 to 50 minutes from the hotel along the west coast. The coastal road is beautiful, but with children and an early start, we prefer to arrange the transport for you. You set off rested, we set the departure time to arrive at opening, and you enjoy the park when it's at its quietest.

Frequently asked questions

From what age is admission charged?

Children under 100 cm get into Vinpearl Safari free. Above that, a child ticket is required, from 100 000 ₫ in the 2026 summer offer. Prices change, we check them with you the day before.

Do you need to book in advance?

We recommend booking the day before, and we're happy to take care of it from reception. We also handle combined tickets with VinWonders if you want to do both parks in one day.

How much time should you allow?

A half-day is enough for the safari, ideally in the morning when the animals are most active. Allow a full day if you add VinWonders, the neighbouring park.

How do you get to the park from the hotel?

The park is in the north of the island, 40 to 50 minutes from our rooms on the west coast. We're happy to arrange the transfer so you arrive at opening without stress.
